Director of Brand Marketing – Residential Fire
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Base Salary Rate: $177,650.00 - $209,000.00

About This Role
The Brand Director will develop and execute marketing strategies that inspire consumers and professionals, grow household penetration, shorten purchase frequency, and increase units per household. By leading an integrated team and collaborating across functions, the Brand Director will build data-driven marketing programs that create habit change in fire safety and deliver measurable growth for the Kidde brand.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture.
- Define and execute homeowner/consumer and professional/contractor marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Translate marketing strategies into actionable plans, budgets, and growth assumptions integrated into LRP, AOP, and A&P budgets.
- Serve as the brand steward, ensuring all marketing content meets brand guidelines and elevates Kidde’s identity globally.
Consumer & Professional Marketing
- Define strategies to engage, educate, and inspire homeowners and professionals to purchase Kidde devices (increase households, frequency, and units per trip).
- Own content strategy, creative briefing, and alignment with cross-functional teams and agency partners across media, social (paid and organic), PR/communications, and digital channels.
- Provide thought leadership on full-funnel marketing tactics, campaign evaluation, and consumer insights integration.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce
- Own the digital marketing strategy across Kidde owned websites, customer websites, and ecommerce channels, ensuring consistent presence, content excellence, and optimized consumer journeys.
- Oversee message and content strategy across brand storefronts (e.g., Amazon Brand Store), and work with internal agency and teams on content development (videos, comparison charts, installation guides, safety FAQs), and reputation management (ratings, reviews, Q&A).
- Drive visibility through SEO/SEM and retail syndication.
- Leverage analytics to continuously improve digital performance and consumer engagement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of progressive marketing or product management experience, with a proven record of delivering brand and business growth.
- 12+ years’ demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage talent, and collaborate across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic Thinking: Skilled at building long-term brand strategies and translating them into actionable execution plans.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong data-driven decision-making and business case development skills.
- Communication: Ability to craft and deliver compelling messages to diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of consumer marketing, pro channel marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, and SEO/SEM best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing with or related field experience
- MBA strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
