The CalAIM Director will oversee the implementation and management of the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that the organization's CalAIM programs, including Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS), align with state guidelines and objectives, enhance care coordination, and improve health outcomes for Medi-Cal beneficiaries. The CalAIM Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The Director will provide staff training; attend multiple community meetings; QA files and develop policy.

Develop and execute strategic plans for CalAIM initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and state requirements.

Provide leadership and direction to the CalAIM team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Recruit, train and maintain a professional staff comprised of care managers, community health workers, housing navigators, quality assurance staff, billing staff, and staff co- located at other sites.

Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of CalAIM programs, including Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS).

Assist in the development of program fiscal and budgetary tracking systems and implementation as well as providing the oversight and management of operating budget and program fiscal expenditures.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.

Coordinate with various departments and external partners to integrate ECM and CS programs into the broader healthcare delivery system.

Oversee implementation of multiple contracts simultaneously.

Develop care coordination strategies that address physical, behavioral, and social determinants of health.

Monitor ECM and CS program performance, outcomes, and impact, using data to drive improvements and report findings to stakeholders.

Maintain relationships with referring and supporting agencies and represent the agency at various community meetings as requested.

Assist in grant planning and initiation of potential funding opportunities when required.

Implement Quality Assurance and Utilization Review systems that monitor the effectiveness and efficiency.

Monitor compliance with all required standards, regulations, state, and federal guidelines.
