Director of Catering Operations – Healthcare

As ISS Türkiye, we continue to expand our catering operations across healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, and corporate service environments. We are currently looking for a Catering Operations Director who will lead large-scale catering operations with a strong operational excellence mindset.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Hospitality Management, or related fields,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in catering, mass food production, healthcare, hospitality, or corporate service operations,
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site and high-volume operations,
  • Strong background in team leadership, performance management, and organizational structuring,
  • Proven experience in hospital catering operations,
  • Preferably experienced in large-scale mass catering and healthcare service environments,
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene standards, and relevant regulations,
  • Competency in budgeting, cost control, P&L management, and operational reporting,
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, and inventory management processes,
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational decision-making capabilities,
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications,
  • Active driver with no travel restrictions.



Position Purpose


The Catering Operations Director will be responsible for the end-to-end management of catering operations across assigned projects, ensuring sustainable service quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

This role requires both strategic and operational leadership in operations management, customer relations, team leadership, cost control, and implementation of quality and hygiene standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure the effective management of catering operations in line with ISS standards,
  • Manage daily operational processes, production planning, and service delivery flows,
  • Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and cost performance, and report to senior management,
  • Ensure sustainability of service quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction standards,
  • Lead project teams, support employee development, and ensure organizational coordination,
  • Manage customer relationships, conduct regular operational review meetings, and create action plans for improvement areas,
  • Oversee supplier management, procurement processes, and inventory control activities,
  • Lead operational setup, workforce planning, and mobilization processes for new projects,
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, quality, environmental, and information security policies,
  • Develop operational improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives.
