The Opportunity

We're seeking a Director of Digital Strategy who doesn't just manage—they lead. This is a role for someone who can ideate and execute, who understands that strategy without action is just conversation, and action without strategy is just noise. You'll be the driving force behind our digital operations, the person our team looks to for direction, and the strategic mind our agency partners rely on to deliver outcomes that matter.

What You'll Own: Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and scale a team of digital marketing specialists across Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and Programmatic (display & video)
  • Build a high-performance culture where accountability isn't a buzzword—it's the standard.
  • Make the tough decisions that need to be made, with fairness and conviction.
  • Develop future leaders as the team grows, transitioning from managing specialists to managing managers
  • Mentor team members to elevate their skills, knowledge, and career trajectories

Strategic Direction:

  • Drive digital strategy for our agency partners' clients across multiple industries and verticals
  • Maintain deep expertise across the digital landscape—understanding emerging channels, platforms, and opportunities
  • Translate complex digital ecosystems into clear, actionable strategies that deliver measurable results
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring forward-thinking recommendations to both internal teams and agency partners

Client Partnership & Campaign Excellence:

  • Serve as the strategic voice in client relationships, building trust through insight and results
  • Oversee campaign performance, optimization strategies, and outcome delivery across all digital channels
  • Ensure campaigns don't just run—they perform, improve, and exceed expectations
  • Balance the art of relationship management with the science of performance marketing

Process & Operations:

  • Implement and refine processes that allow the team to scale without sacrificing quality
  • Create systems that enhance efficiency, clarity, and accountability
  • Identify operational gaps and build solutions before they become problems
  • Drive continuous improvement across workflows, reporting, and team collaboration

What You BringNon-Negotiables:

  • Minimum 5 years of agency-level digital marketing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and holding people accountable to high standards
  • Multi-channel digital expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and Programmatic advertising
  • Depth in execution: You've run campaigns, analyzed data, optimized performance—you've been in the trenches
  • Strategic thinking: You see the big picture, connect the dots, and chart the course forward
  • Decisiveness: You can make tough calls with confidence and stand behind them

What Makes You Exceptional:

  • Experience scaling teams and developing emerging leaders
  • White label or B2B agency experience (understanding the nuances of agency-to-agency partnerships)
  • A track record of driving both team performance and business growth
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to complexity
  • The rare combination of strategic vision and roll-up-your-sleeves execution

Compensation & Details

  • Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
  • Location: Toms River, NJ (Hybrid—minimum 3 days per week in office)
  • Reports To: CEO & Director Group
  • Team Size: Currently 7 specialists, scaling significantly in 2026
