Now we’re looking for a bold, driven Director of Ecommerce to own and scale Pawport’s digital ecosystem — from our Shopify storefront to Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, Meta Shops, and beyond. What You’ll Do
Ecommerce Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce growth strategy across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Facebook/Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Build and manage ecommerce presence in international markets, coordinating logistics, localization, and compliance.
- Manage ecommerce budgets and P&L, ensuring efficient ad spend and profitability.
Website & Shopify Management
- Oversee all aspects of our Shopify storefront, including UX/UI, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and product merchandising.
- Implement best-in-class checkout experiences and integrations to improve performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with in-house design and development teams to keep the site fast, beautiful, and on-brand.
Marketplace Operations
- Lead and optimize Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, and other third-party channels.
- Manage listings, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales and visibility.
- Maintain compliance with platform rules and brand integrity across marketplaces.
Promotions & Campaigns
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, bundles, and product launches that align with brand and sales goals.
- Partner with marketing to deliver cross-platform promotions that drive traffic and conversion.
- Experiment and test — flash sales, limited drops, and loyalty incentives are all fair game.
Email, CRM & Customer Lifecycle
- Design and manage automated email flows — welcome, upsell, cross-sell, win-back, and nurture sequences — using Klaviyo or similar platforms.
- Optimize customer touchpoints and retention through segmentation and personalization.
- Leverage data to improve LTV, repeat purchase rates, and retention.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on KPIs including traffic, AOV, CAC, conversion rate, LTV, and retention.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Build dashboards and systems that ensure data transparency across the team.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with marketing, creative, paid media, and fulfillment teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Manage external agencies or contractors as needed to execute strategy.
- Balance hands-on execution with high-level strategy — you’ll be both player and coach.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of ecommerce experience, with proven success launching and scaling consumer brands internationally.
- Deep understanding of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, and social commerce platforms.
- Expertise in email marketing automation, CRM systems (Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.), and customer lifecycle strategy.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing, SEO, CRO, and paid media integration.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth startup where testing, learning, and iterating are part of the culture.
- Passion for pets — or at least for building brands that people and their pets can love
Bonus Points
- Experience in tech, lifestyle, or home goods categories.
- Background in Shopify Plus and integrations like ReCharge, Yotpo, Gorgias, or ShipStation.
- Knowledge of international fulfillment, localization, and multi-region pricing.
