Infinite Consulting Corp is seeking an accomplished
Director of Federal Services to spearhead our expansion into the federal marketplace. This leader will be responsible for establishing and executing our federal market entry strategy, overseeing pursuit efforts, ensuring compliance with federal procurement standards, and positioning the company to win and successfully deliver federal contracts across agencies such as
GSA,
USACE,
DOD,
NAVFAC, and others.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a seasoned federal program leader who understands the full lifecycle of federal work — from opportunity identification and capture, through procurement and contract award, to project execution and client relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesFederal Market Entry & Growth Strategy- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Infinite's entry into targeted federal markets.
- Identify priority agencies, contracting vehicles, and growth opportunities within GSA, USACE, DOD, NAVFAC, and other organizations.
- Establish short‑ and long‑term business development plans aligned with corporate goals.
Federal Procurement & Capture Leadership- Lead all capture efforts, including opportunity scouting, bid/no‑bid decisions, teaming strategies, and proposal development.
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations, policies, and methodologies (FAR/DFARS, GSA schedules, IDIQs, MATOCs, etc.).
- Build and manage relationships with federal contracting officers, program managers, and strategic partners.
Operational Oversight & Contract Delivery- Oversee the successful execution of awarded federal contracts, ensuring quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and refine processes for project delivery that align with federal standards and client expectations.
- Partner with internal teams to support seamless project mobilization and execution.
Team & Organizational Development- Help build and develop a federal‑focused team as the business unit grows.
- Mentor internal staff on federal procurement practices, compliance requirements, and client engagement strategies.
- Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the federal services group.
External Partnerships & Visibility- Represent Infinite Consulting Corp in federal industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Develop strategic teaming partnerships and joint ventures to strengthen competitive positioning.
Qualifications- 10+ years of progressive experience with federal clients, and the full lifecycle of projects.
- Proven experience with construction management, engineering, or infrastructure‑related federal programs.
- Proven expertise in federal procurement, contracting methodologies, and regulatory frameworks (FAR/DFARS, federal acquisition processes, etc.).
- Involved with successful federal procurement either leading or evaluating work, or leading federal capture efforts and securing significant federal contracts.
- Strong understanding of federal project delivery, contract management, and compliance standards.
- Established network of federal stakeholders, contracting officers, and/or strategic partners.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and build a federal practice from the ground up.
- Experience establishing a new federal business unit or expanding federal market presence for an organization preferred
- Knowledge of small business programs, socio‑economic certifications, and federal set‑aside contracting (SBE, Mentor/Protege, etc.)
