- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the assigned hospital’s Food Services Department to provide professional services to patients, staff and guests.
- Responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all patients as prescribed by the medical staff.
- Routinely visit patients and counseling patients regarding their nutritional needs.
- Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
- Assist with the maintenance of the department’s Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement plan.
- Utilize standardized practices and materials in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.
- Must be registered, licensed or certified according to the guidelines of the state in which the hospital resided.
- Must possess a B.S. degree in Food/Nutrition, General Dietetics or Institutional Management.
- 3 years of experience in a clinical setting with supervisory experience preferred. Rehabilitation experience a plus.
