Director of High-Value Transaction Structuring

The Director of High-Value Transaction Structuring leads the design, structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex, high-value transactions. This role is responsible for originating opportunities, advising clients on optimal deal structures, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring transactions are delivered in line with commercial, legal, regulatory, and risk requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the structuring and execution of high-value transactions, including financing, acquisitions, strategic investments, and other complex corporate deals.
  • Identify and evaluate new transaction opportunities and build a strong pipeline of mandates.
  • Work closely with clients, lenders, investors, legal counsel, and internal teams to develop viable transaction solutions.
  • Prepare, review, and present transaction materials, including proposals, term sheets, information memoranda, and internal approvals.
  • Oversee due diligence, financial analysis, risk assessment, documentation, and closing activities.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with applicable legal, regulatory, credit, and internal policy requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and support negotiation of commercial and legal terms.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams.

Required qualifications

  • Extensive experience in investment banking, structured finance, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven track record of structuring and executing large, complex transactions.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of legal documentation, credit processes, and transaction risk considerations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Qatar or the Gulf region, especially in banking, infrastructure, energy, or sovereign-linked transactions.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory, corporate, and cross-border transaction requirements.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior clients at board level.

Pay: QAR200.00 - QAR400.00 per hour
