Director of High-Value Transaction Structuring

Job Overview

The Director of High-Value Transaction Structuring leads complex deal execution for multimillion-dollar M&A, financings, and investments in Oman. This senior role drives financial optimization, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment to close high-stakes transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced financial models for M&A, project finance, and structured deals; perform valuations and scenario analysis under IFRS and Omani regulations.
  • Structure transactions including debt/equity financing, tax optimization, and risk hedging; negotiate terms with banks, legal teams, and counterparties.
  • Oversee due diligence, investment committees, and deal closing; prepare board papers, LP reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with C-suite on strategic deals in energy, real estate, or tech; manage cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
  • Monitor portfolio performance post-close and advise on exits or restructurings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting (MBA/CFA/CPA preferred); 10-15+ years in investment banking, PE/VC, or Big 4 transaction services.
  • Proven track record structuring OMR 10M+ deals in GCC/Oman; expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO), Sharia-compliant structures, and CMA rules.
  • Arabic/English fluency; strong networks with Oman Investment Authority, banks, and family offices.
  • Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Compensation Range

  • OMR 1,800-3,500 monthly base (OMR 11-22/hour at 160 hours/month), plus performance bonuses and deal incentives.

Pay: RO11.000 - RO21.000 per hour
