Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Long Term Care Experience A Must

About us

Liberty Nursing Center of Colerain is a 93 bed facility located in Colerain. Liberty Nursing Center is looking for a full-time housekeeping and laundry supervisor to over see the day to day of the housekeeping and laundry staff. This includes maintaining employee schedules, hiring staff when needed, scheduling and seeing through deep cleans, employee engagement and interaction as well as being apart of the management team.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff
- Train new employees on housekeeping procedures and standards
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of housekeeping management software is a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
