The Director of Integrative Clinical and Court Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for clinical programming and court-involved patient services, including Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) processes, forensic evaluations, and legal coordination. This role ensures alignment between clinical teams, legal partners, and community resources to support high-quality, trauma-informed, and legally compliant care for individuals receiving behavioral health services. The Director leads initiatives that integrate therapeutic practices with court-mandated requirements and regulatory expectations.

  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs, ensuring evidence-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed care models.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Directors, Program Directors, Social Workers, Therapists, and Case Managers to ensure treatment planning is aligned with patient needs and legal circumstances.
  • Monitor performance metrics related to treatment outcomes, utilization review, and patient flow.
  • Direct and oversee all operations related to court-ordered evaluations and involuntary commitments (including 72-hour, 14-day, and 90-day ITA holds).
  • Serve as liaison with County Designated Crisis Responders (DCRs), courts, law enforcement, public defenders, and prosecuting attorneys.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of legal documentation, evaluations, affidavits, and court packets.
  • Represent the hospital in court hearings and coordinate staff involvement as necessary.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education & Licensure (if applicable): Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field required. Licensed in the state of Washington or Licensed Psychologist preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of involuntary treatment processes, forensic behavioral health, or court related clinical operations.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards, and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role, with an expected annual compensation range of $105,000 to $120,000, plus eligible for annual bonus.
