Position Summary:

XTI Aerospace is seeking an experienced Director of Investor Relations (IR) to join our leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with the investment community and ensuring clear, transparent communication of our strategy, performance, and vision. As a public micro-cap company, we require a candidate with proven expertise in investor relations for publicly traded companies, particularly in working with institutional investors and building shareholder confidence.


The Director of IR will work closely with the CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, SVP of Corporate Development, and CEO to position XTI Aerospace effectively in the capital markets, build investor loyalty, and support private capital-raising efforts.


Key Responsibilities

Investor Engagement & Communications

  • Develop, execute, and manage the company’s investor relations strategy.
  • Identify, research, and engage institutional investors, family offices, and retail investors to broaden and strengthen XTI’s shareholder base.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for analysts, investors, and potential investors.
  • Manage daily investor communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and providing consistent messaging.
  • Plan and coordinate investment conferences and company’s participation in investment conferences.


Public Company Communications

  • Draft, edit, and coordinate press releases, investor presentations, shareholder letters, and earnings announcements.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all public disclosures in compliance with SEC and NASDAQ requirements.
  • Work with the CFO and legal team to maintain adherence to Regulation FD and other disclosure obligations.


Capital Markets & Strategy Support

  • Partner with the CFO, CSO, and SVP of Corporate Development to align investor relations activities with corporate growth strategy.
  • Support the company’s private capital raising efforts, including preparation of materials, investor targeting, and due diligence responses.
  • Track and analyze shareholder ownership trends, peer performance, analyst coverage, and industry developments to inform company strategy.


Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market activity, stock performance, and analyst sentiment to provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Deliver regular reports to the executive team and company Board on investor sentiment, competitive positioning, and market perceptions.
  • Develop key metrics and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of IR initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of investor relations experience, including at least 3 years with a public company.
  • Proven track record of engaging institutional investors and managing investor outreach programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, including press release and investor presentation experience.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and SEC/NASDAQ disclosure requirements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with senior executives, finance, legal, and corporate development teams.
  • Strong analytical and research skills; ability to synthesize complex financial and technical information for investors.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, technology, or related industries preferred.

Salary Range: $135,000-$180,000 Base+ bonus & Stock options
