Position Overview

We are hiring a Director of Jewelry Education & Customer Experience to train and develop our team across multiple locations.

This role focuses on:

• Teaching employees how to evaluate jewelry accurately
• Training staff to clearly explain how values are determined
• Improving customer communication and overall experience

Key Responsibilities

• Train employees on jewelry evaluation (gold, diamonds, luxury items)
• Develop and implement consistent appraisal standards
• Teach staff how to present and explain loan/purchase offers
• Coach employees on communication and customer interaction
• Visit store locations and provide hands-on training
• Improve loan values, close rates, and consistency

Qualifications

• Jewelry experience required (retail, pawn, or wholesale)
• Strong knowledge of gold, diamonds, and pricing
• Experience training or managing teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Multi-location experience
• Formal training (optional) (e.g., Gemological Institute of America)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
