POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

DIRECTOR OF LEARNING COMMONS
LINCOLN TRAIL COLLEGE | ROBINSON, IL

DESCRIPTION: The Director of Learning Commons is the primary administrator responsible for developing, organizing, directing, and assessing the activities of the college's Learning Commons. The Director will oversee one of the following District-wide pillars: ADA, Library, Testing, or Tutoring for IECC. The Director is also responsible for student engagement activities on campus such as new student orientation, weeks of welcome, and advising the campus' Active Minds chapter.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; Master's degree preferred. Experience with libraries, learning skills, retention efforts, and related services is also preferred. Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail; ability to efficiently organize and prioritize work, and ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff; ability to lead and supervise staff; ability to exercise a collaborative style of management and work effectively and collegially with staff from throughout the district.

WAGES: Based upon $$46,276.42 to $53,214.88 per fiscal year, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include, but are not limited to: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, vacation, and personal days; and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
