Director of Legal Affairs

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join a leading multinational telecommunications company in Qatar as Director of Legal Affairs.

This role will focus on providing legal and regulatory support across the business, managing commercial contracts, contract negotiations, compliance matters, corporate legal advisory, and supporting stakeholders on legal risks and company policies — with strong focus on Data Privacy, Data Protection, and Intellectual Property (IP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory advice across the business
• Lead contract negotiation and commercial contract drafting
• Review and manage commercial agreements and policies
• Handle compliance, governance, data privacy, and IP matters
• Support internal stakeholders on legal risk and policy matters
• Liaise with external legal partners and advisors
• Lead and manage the legal support team

Requirements:

• Around 15+ years of legal experience
• Strong background in telecom, technology, or regulated industries
• Experience in contract negotiation and commercial contract drafting
• Strong expertise in Data Privacy, Data Protection, and Intellectual Property (IP)
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• GCC experience is a plus
