Job Title: Director of Maintenance

Program: Administrative Services

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (Based on experience and educational achievements)

General Responsibilities:

Catholic Guardian Services is seeking a highly organized Director of Maintenance to oversee the facility maintenance operations for its diverse portfolio, including offices, a clinic, a community center, and residences. This role involves managing vendor solicitations, service contracts, and maintenance department operations, while ensuring adherence to agency safety policies and reporting requirements.

Required Skills:

• Associates Degree with 10 plus years of experience in facilities, maintenance or property management. OR
• Bachelors Degree with 7 plus years of experience in facilities, maintenance or property management.
• Supervisory experience of maintenance workers or trades personnel.
• Knowledge and experience maintaining FDNY certifications.
• NYS Driver’s license in good standing.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop diverse maintenance team.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
