Director of Marketing

JMT Consulting is seeking a Director of Marketing to support our go-to-market strategy and drive predictable growth. You’ll work with sales leadership in executing on strategic marketing plans, build and manage the plan and budget, and lead a small but mighty team (internal staff + agencies) to deliver a measurable pipeline, brand presence, and product launch success. This role requires a builder who is equally comfortable operating at the strategic level and rolling up their sleeves when needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Architect and run multi-channel programs (paid, organic, events, email, partnerships) to create and accelerate qualified pipeline.

  • Run a tight MQL SQL engine with Sales; co-own definitions and SLAs; weekly pipeline reviews and close-loop feedback.
  • Lead messaging/positioning, launch plans, sales enablement and client case studies
  • Treat the website as a growth asset- own content strategy, SEO roadmap, technical hygiene, UX, and conversion rate optimization
  • Build a repeatable content engine (web, blog, webinars, whitepapers, email, social, PR) that supports demand, brand, and product narratives.
  • Own strategy for webinars, conferences, and field events; measure influence and ROI on pipeline.
  • Lead and coach marketing team and manage agencies/contractors; set clear scorecards and accountability.
  • Provide executive-ready comms; collaborate with Sales, Client Success, Product, and Finance to align on goals and resources.

What Success Looks Like

  • Marketing sourced and influenced pipeline targets consistently met or exceeded (targets set with leadership).

  • Improved MQL SQL conversion and sales cycle velocity via better qualification, enablement, and nurture.
  • Measurable SEO/organic growth (traffic, rankings, demo/consult requests) and higher site-to-lead conversion.
  • On-time, high-impact product/offer launches with clear positioning and proof points (case studies, testimonials).
  • Clear, executive-level dashboards; budget managed within plan; insights drive quarterly optimization.



Marketing Qualifications:


  • 7–10+ years in B2B marketing with 3+ years leading demand gen and/or product marketing; professional services, SaaS, or ERP/financial systems experience

  • Proven ownership of plan + budget and delivering against pipeline and revenue goals
  • Strong demand gen/ABM chops across paid, organic, lifecycle, and events
  • Demonstrated product marketing experience (positioning, launches, enablement)
  • Fluent in marketing ops/analytics (MAP/CRM, automation, attribution, dashboards)
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication; can move from board-level strategy to hands-on execution
  • Comfortable managing creative direction; hands-on tools proficiency is a plus (e.g., CMS, Google Ads/Analytics, email platforms)
