The Director of Marketing is a senior strategic leader responsible for driving brand growth, customer engagement, and innovative marketing initiatives across print and digital platforms. This role ensures the company’s brand visibility, engagement, and long-term growth while maintaining consistency of voice and identity across all channels.

This position collaborates closely with senior leadership on strategic direction, performance reporting, and long-term vision. The Director will balance creative innovation with data-driven strategies and provide regular reports to leadership on performance, insights, and recommendations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, visionary leader who combines creativity with a sharp analytical mindset. They should excel at driving bold, innovative ideas while grounding strategies in data-driven insights that deliver strong brand representation and ROI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop, refine, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies at both local and regional levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and collaborating closely with senior leadership to guide high-level vision and execution plans.

· Lead brainstorming, planning, and implementation of campaigns that drive visibility, engagement, and measurable results.

· Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation.

· Track, analyze, and report key marketing KPIs to senior leadership.

· Use data insights to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and guide resource allocation.

· Provide quarterly and annual performance reports with actionable recommendations.

· Oversee website content, SEO, and digital optimization to drive traffic and improve user experience.

· Direct the creative development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, overseeing print and digital initiatives such as email, paid advertising, and performance marketing, while ensuring cohesive messaging across all marketing collateral and promotional content.

· Serve as a steward of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications, campaigns, and materials.

· Oversee the use of marketing and collaboration software including Dropbox (asset management), WordPress (website management), email campaign software (e.g., Mailchimp/Constant Contact), Google Ads, and Meta Ads to execute and optimize marketing initiatives.

· Direct social media strategy, enhancing brand reach, engagement, and identity.

· Implement new digital tools, channels, and strategies to expand reach and effectiveness.

· Conduct location/site visits to assess marketing effectiveness and ensure brand standards are met.

· Provide direction on local promotions, partnerships, sponsorships, and event marketing campaigns.

· Lead in-house and external event marketing efforts, ensuring strong brand representation and ROI.

· Oversee vendor and partner relationships, including selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation.

· Ensure third-party services deliver high-quality, cost-effective materials aligned with brand needs.

· Guide the design and photography team to deliver cohesive, high-quality visual storytelling.

· Manage and mentor a team including coordinators, designers, and community ambassadors.

· Utilize project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Microsoft Teams/Planner/Project, etc.) to manage workflows, track progress, and enhance collaboration across the marketing team.

· Partner with cross-functional departments (Sales, Operations, Events, Food & Beverage) to align marketing with broader business initiatives.

· Work closely with the Director of Sales and Field Operations to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives and operational goals, ensuring cohesive sales strategies that drive revenue growth, maintain brand standards, and enhance the guest experience.

· Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture.

· Develop and manage the marketing budget with senior leadership, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.

· Monitor spending, track financial impact, and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

· Minimum of 5+ year’s experience in a related senior marketing role.

· Proven track record in digital and print marketing, social media, and campaign management to create and execute integrated campaigns that drive measurable results.

· Proven marketing leadership experience within a high-growth, multi-location entertainment or hospitality brand, ideally in a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) or similar guest-focused industry.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dropbox, WordPress, email marketing platforms, Google Ads, and Meta Ads, along with proven ability in SEO, website management, and performance analytics to support and optimize digital campaign execution.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva preferred.

· Experience using project management and collaboration software (e.g., ClickUp, Microsoft Teams/Planner/Project, etc.) preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for business related events and networking.

· Ability to travel up to 25% for events, partnerships, and location-based marketing support.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds when assisting with materials or client visits.
