Director of Marketing

Boise, United States

Job Title: Director of Marketing

Company: City of Trees Real Estate

Location: In-Person (Boise, ID)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm

About Us

City of Trees Real Estate is one of Idaho’s fastest-growing real estate companies, rooted in culture, community, and performance. With over 6,000 homes sold and a mission to make Boise the most connected real estate market in the country, we’re scaling toward a bold goal - $20 million in gross commission income by 2028.

Our marketing engine is already a local force - through our City of Trees brand, luxury division (Portfolio Collection), and community media platform I heart City of Trees.

Now we’re looking for a Director of Marketing who can turn that brand power into predictable growth.

About the Role

We’re searching for a strategic and analytical marketing leader who can transform attention into appointments, leads, and measurable revenue.

This is not a “make things pretty” role - it’s a “make things perform” role.

You’ll oversee campaign strategy, creative direction, and performance tracking across all marketing channels. You’ll lead a small creative team (video editor, designer, social media manager) and collaborate directly with the CEO, Director of Sales, and Director of Operations to align marketing with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive leads for buyers, sellers, builders, and agents.
  • Content & Media Oversight: Oversee production of video, digital, print, and event marketing assets that align with our brand voice and convert viewers into clients.
  • Analytics & Tracking: Build dashboards to track ROI across social, paid, organic, and referral channels. Report monthly on lead flow, conversion rates, and marketing-driven revenue.
  • Brand Growth: Expand our social reach, email database, podcast audience, and web traffic. Strengthen our presence through storytelling, partnerships, and local collaborations.
  • Recruiting Support: Partner with leadership to drive agent-attraction campaigns and communicate our value proposition to high-performing agents.
  • Builder & Developer Marketing: Create campaigns that help builders and developers sell faster and increase brand trust.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Manage a creative team and coordinate cross-department efforts to ensure brand consistency, campaign alignment, and marketing accountability.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience (real estate, agency, or growth-stage company preferred)
  • Deep understanding of lead generation funnels, analytics, and campaign attribution
  • Strong grasp of content strategy, storytelling, and community marketing
  • Experience managing creative or digital teams
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and CRM/automation platforms (e.g. FollowUpBoss, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Data-driven mindset - you know how to translate marketing into measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Think like a business owner and love tracking ROI
  • Can switch between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
  • Love building systems that scale
  • Believe marketing’s purpose is to drive measurable growth, not just awareness
  • Want to be part of an ambitious, high-performance culture that values grit, gratitude, integrity, and excellence

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (DOE)
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to GCI and lead-conversion metrics
  • Growth opportunities as the company scales toward $20M+ GCI
  • Supportive team culture focused on growth and development

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • Your resume
  • A short paragraph or video explaining one campaign you’ve led that directly increased sales or measurable ROI
  • Links to any relevant portfolios, websites, or campaign examples
