Job Objective

The Director of Marketing will serve as the strategic leader driving Sportsdigita’s full-funnel marketing engine - from demand generation, brand strategy, content, digital, and marketing operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that accelerates growth, strengthens brand equity, and aligns all marketing functions to business objectives. The Director of Marketing will also play a pivotal part in shaping the next evolution of Sportsdigita’s growth as we prepare to launch an expanded, AI powered offering.

As we enter this new phase, the Director will lead efforts to reimagine our go to market strategy, brand story, and demand generation practice, ensuring our message, positioning and programs reflect our innovation and industry leadership.

Reporting directly to the executive team, the Director will oversee a team of marketing specialists and will be responsible for adding the strategic layer to ensure long-term scalability and excellence across all programs ensuring strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute an integrated marketing strategy that supports company growth, market expansion, and successful launch of our new AI driven offering.
  • Refine Sportsdigita’s go to market strategy, brand positioning and narrative to align with the company’s expanded capabilities and evolving customer base.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing roadmaps, budgets, and success metrics.

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Lead a data-driven demand generation engine to deliver predictable pipeline growth from $10M to $50M ARR.
  • Oversee integrated multi-channel campaigns across paid media, SEO/SEM, email, events, social, and ABM.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing and sales through shared goals, feedback loops, and reporting.

Content & Brand Strategy

  • Lead the development of high-impact storytelling across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Oversee all brand and content initiatives including blogs, thought leadership, case studies, and creative campaigns, to strengthen awareness and credibility.
  • Partner with leadership and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across touch points.

Digital & Website Management

  • Own the corporate website as a key growth channel, ensuring optimization for conversion, SEO, and brand experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement in UX, analytics, and content strategy to enhance engagement and lead generation.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

  • Oversee all marketing systems and processes (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.) for accuracy, automation, and performance.
  • Implement best-in-class reporting on campaign ROI, funnel metrics, and forecasting for executive visibility.
  • Manage the marketing budget strategically, allocating spend to maximize impact and efficiency.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of three marketing professionals across content, digital, and campaign execution.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on GTM strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS marketing with deep exposure across demand generation, content, digital, and operations.
  • Proven success in scaling marketing programs and teams within high-growth environments ($10M–$50M+ ARR).
  • Strong strategic thinker with hands-on experience executing in multiple disciplines.
  • Expertise in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to optimize marketing investments for ROI.
