Carolina Home Exteriors (CHE) is seeking a Director of Marketing to support our continued growth and success in our beautiful, sunny beach location in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina—an excellent opportunity to join one of the Grand Strand’s most respected home improvement companies.

Our Marketing Director is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the company’s marketing strategy, owning the brand direction, managing the marketing budget, optimizing paid media, leading traditional advertisement channels, driving lead generation, and building scalable marketing systems.

This position leads the entire marketing function and collaborates closely with Sales, Design, Operations, and the Executive Team to ensure marketing directly contributes to the company's revenue growth and profitability. This position reports to our President/Owner and promotes business development.

The ideal Director of Marketing is a strategic, data-driven leader who combines creative vision with analytical precision to drive growth and maintain brand consistency. They should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, and the ability to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals to maximize ROI and market presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Department Oversight

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and budget.
  • Build, lead, and grow the marketing team.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction.
  • Lead cross-department collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Design.

Lead Generation & Growth Strategy

  • Architect a multi-channel lead generation engine across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LSAs, SEO, website optimization, and offline channels.
  • Improve funnel performance and conversion rates across all touchpoints.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms, tools, technologies, and partnerships.

Paid Media & Performance Marketing

  • Direct high-budget campaigns across Google, Meta, and local media.
  • Own high-level KPIs: ROAS, CAC, CPL, Conversion Rates.
  • Approve campaign structure, targeting, creative, and spend allocation.
  • Analyze performance data and adjust strategy for measurable growth.

Brand, Content & Creative Direction

  • Own the company’s brand voice, identity, and story.
  • Approve major creative assets, campaigns, and advertising materials.
  • Oversee video production, photography, and content strategy.

Website, SEO & Digital Experience

  • Lead website performance, CRO strategy, UX updates, and SEO/AEO roadmap.
  • Ensure the digital customer journey aligns with the sales process.
  • Oversee landing page quality, conversion rates, and analytics.

Analytics, Reporting & AI Leadership

  • Build KPI dashboards and reporting systems (CPL, CAC, ROAS, MQL→SQL, etc.).
  • Lead adoption of AI tools for analytics, content generation, and sales automation.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly executive reports with insights and recommendations.

Community Marketing & Traditional Media

  • Oversee home shows, events, sponsorships, media, brochures, and local partnerships.
  • Strengthening CHE’s visibility and reputation across the Grand Strand.
  • Represent the company at local meetings, networking events, and civic organizations.
  • Coordinate with local publications for articles, features, awards, and press releases.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 8+ years in marketing with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor a marketing team and agencies.
  • Proven results in performance marketing, digital advertising, and traditional media.
  • Advanced knowledge of Go High Level CRM, Smartsheet, and GA4.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, AEO, CRO, and analytics.
  • Experience in home improvement, construction, or trades marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing optimization and predictive modeling tools.
  • Ability to manage large budgets and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Excellent copywriting, creative vision, and brand storytelling ability.
  • Advanced analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Natural problem solver who anticipates roadblocks and creates solutions.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,800.00 - $85,280.00 per year
