Position Summary

We are seeking an Director of Marketing who is energized by building, problem-solving, teamwork, and driving growth. This highly hands-on leadership role partners closely with the VP of Marketing to build and scale the marketing function, establish foundational systems and processes, and deliver integrated go-to-market strategies across multiple lines of business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and builder who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. This role oversees integrated marketing efforts across B2C and B2B businesses, spanning brand, CRM, media, analytics, creative, and agency management.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to build and scale the marketing organization, including org structure, workflows, processes, and platforms.
  • Establish strong working relationships with leaders across all business units to understand business goals, strategies, and target markets.
  • Lead end-to-end integrated marketing strategy across multiple B2C and B2B lines of business.
  • Drive creative strategy and campaign development; oversee agency partners across brand, media, digital, and content.
  • Lead the development and optimization of customer journey maps to identify moments of influence, friction points, and opportunities to enhance customer experience and business performance.
  • Oversee audience segmentation strategies using data-driven insights to tailor messaging, content, and channel mix.
  • Own the marketing automation roadmap, including the design, execution, and ongoing optimization of multi-channel automated campaigns.
  • Develop and manage contact strategies to ensure personalized, timely communications aligned with customer behavior and lifecycle stage.
  • Collaborate closely with analytics teams and agency partners to align segmentation, journey design, and automation with business unit goals.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure engagement, conversion, retention, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Drive ongoing testing, optimization, and innovation across journeys, segmentation models, and offers to improve ROI and personalization at scale.
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling and customer-centric execution across all omnichannel touchpoints.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a growing marketing team while fostering a culture of ownership, creativity, and accountability.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal Public Relations professionals.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of integrated marketing leadership experience across both B2C and B2B environments.
  • Experience leveraging prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs), including supervised learning concepts, to develop, optimize, and scale AI-driven marketing strategies and content.
  • Proven success building or transforming marketing teams, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Strong experience across brand strategy, CRM, analytics, media planning, and marketing technology.
  • Background in high-growth environments, new business development, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agencies and drive high-quality creative output.
  • A self-starter with a builder’s mindset and comfort operating in evolving, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Confidence without ego and a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including professional and non-professional staff.
