DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

OVERVIEW

LEKTRIK ART is the global leader in themed lighting exhibitions - designing and producing award-winning immersive experiences worldwide. As the only American-owned lamp manufacturer in the industry, we set the standard for innovation and creativity in large-scale illuminated attractions.

We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing to spearhead our marketing efforts with a focus on data-driven decision-making, seasonal demand planning, and maximizing ticket sales. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of pricing strategies, media buying, digital marketing, and the attractions industry—someone who can optimize promotional efforts in partnership with FEVER and other ticketing platforms to drive global awareness and attendance.

This is not a passive marketing role—the ideal candidate will roll up their sleeves, develop actionable strategies, and ensure flawless execution while working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing & Growth Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the unique seasonality of lantern festivals, ensuring peak attendance during key periods.
  • Analyze consumer demand, ticketing trends, and past sales data to optimize pricing and promotional strategies for each festival location.
  • Drive brand positioning and global expansion strategies to establish LEKTRIK ART as the premier lantern festival brand worldwide.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Oversee all digital, social media, print, and experiential marketing efforts, ensuring high-impact, conversion-focused campaigns.
  • Manage media buying across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic display, outdoor advertising, etc.) to optimize cost per acquisition and maximize ticket sales.
  • Work with FEVER and other third-party ticketing platforms to ensure marketing alignment, campaign effectiveness, and pricing optimization.

Revenue & Pricing Optimization

  • Implement data-driven pricing strategies based on demand, competition, and seasonality, ensuring optimal revenue per ticket sold.
  • Develop dynamic pricing models that capitalize on peak booking windows and minimize low-demand periods.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, VIP experiences, and premium packages to increase per capita revenue.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing market research and audience segmentation to better understand customer behavior and preferences.
  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, and marketing tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide insights on new market opportunities and develop localized marketing strategies for different cities and regions.

Brand & Partnership Management

  • Maintain and enhance LEKTRIK ART’s brand identity, ensuring all messaging aligns with our vision and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with external PR firms, content creators, and advertising agencies to amplify awareness and engagement.
  • Work closely with venue partners, event promoters, and influencers to create targeted marketing activations and community engagement strategies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a small but high-impact marketing team, ensuring accountability and results-driven execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and production teams to align marketing with on-the-ground logistics and guest experience.
  • Regularly communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and marketing performance reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have Experience & Skills:

· 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the attractions, events, or entertainment industry.

· Proven track record of driving attendance and revenue growth through strategic marketing campaigns.

· Deep understanding of ticket pricing strategies, seasonality, and demand forecasting.

· Strong expertise in media buying, digital marketing, and audience segmentation.
Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing.

· Strong data analysis skills—ability to track, interpret, and act on key marketing performance metrics.

· Ability to work with ticketing platforms (like FEVER) and optimize conversion strategies.

· Experience leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, from social media to out-of-home (OOH) advertising.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

· Experience working in large-scale cultural or themed events (lantern festivals, amusement parks, immersive experiences, etc.).

· Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.

· Familiarity with partnership marketing and tourism boards.

· Experience in content marketing, PR, and storytelling for live experiences.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
