Reports to: Vice President of Marketing – Alma Lasers USA

Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000, Commensurate with Experience


This position is full-time and primarily remote, with a minimum of 30% travel to our Corporate Headquarters in the Fulton Market area of Chicago, IL. as well as other business initiatives.

Position Summary

Playing a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic marketing initiatives for Alma Lasers USA, the Director of Marketing will implement and execute the vision and strategic plan to deliver measurable impact. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this leader will oversee the development, implementation, and execution of creative and innovative marketing strategies to drive business growth through lead generation, brand recognition, meaningful relationships within the physician community, and support of the sales channel with resources that accelerate revenue. This position will also maintain strong budget management and investment discipline, while advancing data governance, reporting accuracy, and operational integrity across the marketing function. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creative vision, aesthetic experience, strategic acumen, and leadership skills to the role.

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Translate, implement and execute comprehensive strategic vision and marketing plan into measurable programs aligned to business objectives, impact, and sustainable growth. Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to guide strategy and leadership reporting.
  • Establish operational discipline across the function through clear processes, prioritization frameworks, and performance management.


Analytics, Technology & Performance Management:

  • Maintain and optimize lead generation reporting dashboards with clear tracking, attribution, and funnel performance.
  • Partner with sales leadership to improve lead quality, pipeline conversion, and revenue outcomes.
  • Support integration and optimization of Salesforce, NetSuite, and other marketing technologies, software, and programs.
  • Advance data governance standards to ensure reporting accuracy, clean lead data, proper attribution, and database integrity across platforms.
  • Identify and implement new marketing technologies that improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.


Content Strategy:

  • Lead content strategies that strengthen brand storytelling, product education, physician engagement, and market authority.
  • Drive campaigns, launches, and sales enablement programs that support commercial growth.


Brand, Compliance & Claims Management:

  • Oversee all marketing materials to align with brand standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Govern the claims matrix, ensuring adherence to approved claims, indication for use, and approval workflows.


Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner with sales, clinical, finance, regulatory, and practice development teams to maximize impact.
  • Build a culture of accountability, creativity, and high performance across internal and external partners.
  • Establish approval workflows that protect brand integrity while enabling speed and agility.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets with disciplined controls, forecasting, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Track ROI, vendor performance, and spend efficiency while providing clear visibility to leadership.


Skills Required

  • Industry experience within aesthetics, medical devices, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and project management platforms such as Salesforce, Wrike, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing trends, digital channels, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical ability to measure performance and generate actionable insights.
  • Creative and strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while leading initiatives independently.
  • Experience engaging physician communities and B2B professional audiences preferred.


Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive marketing experience leading and executing strategic initiatives, demand generation, and downstream marketing programs.
  • Experience within medical devices, aesthetics, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and cross-functional commercial support.
  • Proven track record managing campaigns, events, product launches, and revenue-driving initiatives.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position will have 2–3 direct reports across creative, product marketing, and related functions, while leading multiple strategic initiatives and supporting cross-functional team development.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Travel

This position requires at least 30% travel for business purposes, including some weekends.
