About Leafology Cannabis Company

Leafology was the first recreational dispensary in Westchester and still holds a top position in New York State. It is a family-, woman-, veteran-, minority-owned recreational dispensary in White Plains serving Westchester County and Fairfield County Connecticut. We blend expert guidance, cannabis culture vibes, and convenience to make shopping friendly, fun, and stigma-free.

The Role

Leafology is hiring a full-funnel quantitative KPI-driven marketer who understands cannabis culture. Compensation is $65K-70K base + $5-$10K bonus tied to KPIs + performance equity ($10-$50K tied to performance). KPIs: new customers, traffic, ticket.

This person will be a hands-on, full-stack Marketing Director to own all day-to-day marketing. You’ll drive foot traffic, delivery orders, and brand love through high-velocity content across all organic and paid channels, Google Business Profile optimization, and in-store/digital graphics. Ideal candidate who can work efficiently across all channels and leverage AI-tools (off the shelf and in-house built tools).

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Google Business Profile: Optimize GBP profile for top position.
  • Paid Media: Manage and optimize paid media spend. Ideally hands on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google, traditional radio, magazines, etc.
  • Drive Public Relations: Develop & maintain relationships with local publications to write stories about Leafology
  • Email & SMS Marketing: Write/design segmented campaigns; A/B test subject lines; track open/click/conversion; build weekly cadence around new drops, deals, events, and education.
  • Content Production: Shoot product and lifestyle photos, capture short-form video in store/events
  • Collaborate with inventory team: Create deals/ promotions with inventory team that drive revenue
  • In-Store Creative: Design/update digital menu boards, placards, posters, window clings, and quick-turn promo signage; ensure brand consistency.
  • Website/SEO Support: Light CMS edits, on-page SEO basics, publish strain spotlights/FAQs; coordinate with vendors/partners for assets.
  • Organic Social Media: Coordinate content creation & post 2-3x/week
  • Analytics & Reporting: Set KPIs; update ownership on KPIs
  • Compliance & Brand Safety: Understand NY advertising rules and platform policies and abide by them across all communications

You Are

  • A doer with a strong portfolio of social/email/graphic work (links required).
  • AI-forward and use AI to accelerate creativity: generate first-draft copy, image variations, storyboard ideas, and data summaries—then human-edit to our tone.
  • Fast, organized, and comfortable publishing several assets daily
  • A strong communicator and project manager to leverage the vendors/resources around you to move quickly
  • Comfortable on-camera/on-site to capture content with staff and customers
  • Cannabis-savvy Direct industry experience is a plus, not required.
  • Focused on continuous Improvement and data-curious: you set targets and improve based on results.

Tools You Know (or learn fast) Canva and/or Adobe, Google Workspace, Excel, GA4, CapCut/Premiere, Mailchimp/Klaviyo (or similar ESP), Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profiles, basic CMS (WordPress).

Schedule & Location Full-time, on-site in White Plains, NY. Some evenings/weekends for events, product drops, and timely posts.

Compensation & Benefits $65K-70K base + $5-$10K bonus tied to KPIs + $10-$15K performance equity
