Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Director of Marketing to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. This is a key leadership position that will support the next phase of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) transformation journey. They will partner with the leadership team to continue transforming the attraction into an immersive, experience-driven destination, firmly rooted in NASA’s educational, fact-based, and mission-driven foundation.
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104,100 - $140,500 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Shape and execute marketing strategies that balance science and education with experience-driven storytelling to attract diverse audiences.

Develop and oversee integrated campaigns across advertising, media, partnerships, digital, social media, and content to drive revenue and visitation.

Direct public relations strategies to strengthen media coverage, drive awareness and protect brand reputation.
Ensure consistent, compelling messaging that differentiates KSCVC within the Orlando attractions market.
Digital Marketing & Content

Drive digital initiatives across website, SEO/SEM, email, paid media, and social platforms to generate ticket sales, group bookings, and repeat visitation.

Oversee content creation that builds emotional connections, inspires curiosity, and strengthens brand loyalty.

Leverage analytics to measure effectiveness and maximize ROI.
Events & Education Programming

Collaborate with the Education and Events team to develop and activate signature events, seasonal promotions, and media activations designed to increase visitation and revenue.

Use events and education programming as platforms to deepen audience engagement while driving business performance.
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor a cross-functional marketing team across brand, digital, content, social and PR.

Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and performance within the team.

Manage external agencies, vendors, and partnerships to ensure strong return on investment.
Financial & Performance Management

Own responsibility for achieving revenue and attendance targets through strategic marketing initiatives.

Manage the marketing budget effectively, aligning resources with business priorities.

Define and track KPIs to monitor performance across all marketing channels and campaigns.

Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership, adapting strategies as needed to meet financial goals.
Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain productive relationships with NASA stakeholders to ensure alignment between KSCVC marketing and NASA’s mission priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

8–10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in attractions, hospitality, entertainment, tourism, or related industries.

Proven ability to design and execute marketing strategies that directly drive revenue and visitation.

Strong expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, social media, PR, and event promotion.

Experience managing budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.

Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
