Hours: Monday-Friday (Normal Business Hours)
Salary: $130k-$170k/yr (Based on experience and qualifications) + 25% annual bonus
Director of Operations – Strategic Leadership & Program Development
The Director of Operations will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of all major account programs, driving operational excellence and long-term business growth. This executive role will lead a team of Area Managers and Project Managers, championing the development of high-performing teams and scalable programs that exceed client expectations. The Director will serve as the senior escalation point for clients, cultivate strategic partnerships, and drive transformational change throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Program Building:

Design and implement strategic operational initiatives that align with Salute’s vision and client goals.

Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams and develop robust programs to support expansion and innovation.

Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Lead succession planning and talent development to foster professional growth and sustain high-performance standards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the senior point of contact for hyperscale clients, ensuring proactive relationship management and strategic alignment.

Strengthen long-term client partnerships by identifying opportunities for service expansion and program enhancements.

Champion clear, transparent communication and advocate for client needs in strategic planning.
Operational Excellence & Oversight:

Direct the execution of complex, multi-site projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational success and program effectiveness.

Develop frameworks to support Area and Project Managers in resolving challenges and mitigating risks.
Financial Strategy & Budget Management:

Lead financial planning and oversight for all regional operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and budgetary control.

Analyze financial data to drive cost optimization and maximize project profitability.
Policy, Compliance, & Quality Assurance:

Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client-specific requirements across all programs.

Oversee regular audits and reviews to maintain quality assurance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Process Innovation & Efficiency:

Identify and implement innovative operational processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

Lead change management efforts and communicate new processes and expectations across teams.
Learning & Development:

Champion onboarding, training, and professional development programs for all Area and Project Managers.

Ensure teams are equipped with the latest safety standards, operational best practices, and leadership development resources.
Inventory & Resource Management:

Strategically oversee inventory and asset management to support uninterrupted project delivery.

Develop systems for timely restocking and optimal resource utilization.
Travel Requirements:

Travel to US East Region sites as needed to provide strategic oversight, with approximately 10 weeks of travel per year.
Professional Experience / Qualifications

Executive Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and programs at a senior level, with a focus on strategy, results, and sustainable growth.

Client Partnership Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strategic client relationships.

Program & Project Management Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of program management principles, financial oversight, and risk management.

Strategic Problem-Solving: Proven ability to drive innovative solutions and overcome complex business challenges.

Process & Efficiency Leadership: Experience in developing and implementing transformative operational processes for improved effectiveness.

Technical Acumen: Proficiency with project management platforms and the ability to communicate technical requirements to teams and clients.
