We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Factory Manager to lead and oversee the entire spectrum of factory operations — from production planning and inventory management to mechanical and electrical maintenance. This role demands a strong leader who can balance operational efficiency, preventive maintenance, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring the factory runs smoothly and sustainably.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the medical device manufacturing sector, particularly in first aid bandages, medical tapes, or related products, and those with a solid understanding of DRAP (Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan) compliance and associated quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have the technical depth, managerial discipline, and analytical capability to optimize resources, improve productivity, and foster continuous improvement across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Operations
- Develop, implement, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet output and quality targets.
- Adjust production schedules to accommodate preventive maintenance, material availability, or customer demand changes.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for seamless production flow.
- Track production efficiency, downtime, and bottlenecks; recommend and execute improvements.
- Oversee shift schedules, manpower allocation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Inventory & Materials Management
- Supervise and coordinate with the Store Manager and Warehouse Managers to maintain accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

- Monitor and document all maintenance activities and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with internal and external technicians.
- Maintain up-to-date records of equipment calibration, performance logs, and maintenance history.
Resource Planning, Evaluation & Optimization

- Evaluate and justify each proposed addition based on ROI, productivity impact, and operational necessity, avoiding unnecessary expenses.
- Identify underperforming profiles and initiate performance improvement plans or role replacements where necessary.
- Define the criteria and measurable basis for such decisions (e.g., efficiency metrics, quality output, cost reduction impact).
- Monitor and document the performance of new or replacement staff to ensure measurable improvements in factory operations and output.
- Maintain alignment of resource planning with company budgets and long-term operational goals.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure that all production processes comply with ISO, DRAP, quality assurance, and safety standards.
