Director of Preschool

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Director of Preschool to lead our early childhood education program with passion and purpose. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic planning initiatives to enhance preschool programs, ensuring alignment with educational best practices and community needs
• Manage the preschool’s operational aspects, resource allocation, and compliance with licensing regulations
• Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of teaching staff to cultivate a motivated and professional team
• Oversee curriculum development to ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Foster strong relationships with families to promote a welcoming and collaborative environment
• Monitor program quality through regular assessments, feedback collection, and continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure environment for children and staff

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years directing experience is preferred
• Proven management experience in education administration or early childhood program leadership
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and budgeting within an educational setting
• Extensive background in preschool or early childhood education with hands-on teaching experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and build collaborative relationships
• Knowledge of licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in early childhood education
