Koniag Government Services is seeking an experienced Director of Pricing to lead and oversee all pricing operations and activities. The ideal candidate is a strategic pricing leader with extensive federal government contracting experience and a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar proposal pricing efforts. This position requires expert knowledge of strategic pricing, Price to Win (PTW) methodologies, and competitive analysis. The Director will serve as the primary strategic advisor for pricing decisions for one of our Lines of Business, and will act as lead on providing support for federal, state, and commercial proposals. This position is remote.

The Director of Pricing will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all pricing activities for the organization, ensuring competitive and compliant proposal submissions.
Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage all pricing operations, managing the complete pricing opportunity life-cycle including Price to Win (PTW) analysis, capture, competitive proposal pricing, and execution kick-off
- Develop and manage complex cost models and pricing strategies for large multi-million dollar Federal, State, and Commercial proposals, managing concurrent proposal responses
- Conduct comprehensive Price to Win (PTW) analyses, evaluate market and competitive conditions, and provide strategic recommendations to executive management on pricing decisions
- Perform profit and loss analysis, cash flow analysis, and execution impact analysis for significant proposal responses
- Lead Pricing Review briefings with Executive Management and serve as the pricing subject matter expert for strategic business decisions
- Assist in maturing department-wide cost model templates and tools to streamline proposal responses and optimize pricing function efficiencies
- Work closely with contracts to develop pricing-related content for business volumes
- Engage with senior leadership during gate reviews for assigned line of business, working closely with capture managers and SMEs to develop pre-proposal pricing strategies
Education and Experience:Required:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of progressive pricing experience in federal government contracting, including at least 5 years in a senior pricing leadership role engaging with C-suit level executive leadership
- Extensive experience developing complex cost models for multi-million dollar proposals
Required Skills and Competencies:- Expert-level knowledge and demonstrated leadership in federal government pricing, including FAR/DFARS regulations and DCMA Estimating System requirements
- Advanced Price to Win (PTW) analysis capabilities with proven ability to evaluate competitive conditions and develop winning pricing strategies
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, macros, arrays, and sophisticated modeling techniques for complex cost models
- Strong financial acumen with proven ability to perform profit and loss analysis, cash flow analysis, and execution impact analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively brief and influence executive leadership on pricing strategies
- Proven ability to manage large pricing departments and dozens of concurrent proposal responses
- Experience managing IDIQ contract vehicles and task order pricing responses
Desired Skills and Competencies:- Experience with Defense, Intelligence Community, or DoD customers
