Location: Hybrid | Bloomfield Hills, MI (near Detroit)

Compensation: Around $150K base + bonus | $200K OTE

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement to lead procurement strategy and operations across commercial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects. This is a high-impact role that will shape how we source, negotiate, and deliver materials, equipment, and subcontracted services ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and excellence across the organization.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Oversee RFQs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and purchase orders
• Partner with project managers, estimators, and operations leaders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
• Drive supplier performance management, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing initiatives

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of procurement experience
• Preferably at least 10+ years in MEP environments
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Procore, Sage Intacct Construction, BuildOps preferred)
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI or Tableau) for reporting and dashboards
• Proven track record in negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier management
• Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments
