JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and providing support to the Executive Leadership Team, Site Operations Management, and Employees of the company and subsidiaries, the Director of Procurement performs the following job duties:
The Director of Procurement oversees the processes of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and internal controls of goods and services used in the business.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory, production planning, and logistics networks to enhance overall efficiency and reduce costs.

Utilize multiple enterprise software packages to manage business flows.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of quality raw materials and components at terms optimal to the organization.

Ensure organizational compliance with Purchasing and Inventory Control Policies.

Organize transportation and storage of products ensuring that delivery times are minimized while maintaining cost-effectiveness

Analyze supply chain performance metrics such as inventory turnover and on time delivery rates to identify areas for improvement

Work closely with other departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives and demand forecasts.

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans

Utilize data analytics to monitor logistics and supply chain processes, identifying issues and implementing solutions to enhance performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10 years of professional experience in a similar role.

HS diploma or equivalent
-
Valid US Driver License
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Available for occasional travel as needed to operations facilities in Texas and surrounding states

Intermediate-level experience with MS Office Suite
- English language proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail orientation with equally strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking and demonstrated problem-solving

Self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate internally and externally, and in sometimes challenging situations, while maintaining a professional demeanor and customer service orientation

Able to successfully complete all required pre-hire tests and verifications to include pre-employment drug testing, reference & criminal background checks and MVR review
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge of servicing oil well drilling sites

Previous experience in oil/gas, trucking, manufacturing or other heavy-industrial environment

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Experience with a Purchase Order process using NetSuite ERP system supporting a multi-site service and distribution organization
