What We're Looking For
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate or a related field is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of senior leadership experience within a luxury residential, branded residence or high end hospitality environment, leading operations and delivering exceptional resident experiences aligned with luxury brand standards.
  • Recent or ongoing experience in a senior leadership role within luxury residences or a high volume hospitality brand is strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding organisational and executive leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and elevate cross functional teams to exceed expectations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confidently engaging with residents, owners, executive leadership, board members and key stakeholders.
  • Advanced problem solving capabilities and agility to navigate complex operational environments while maintaining premium service standards.
  • A strategic and proactive mindset, combined with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring seamless and refined residential operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, fostering trusted relationships with owners, residents and corporate leadership.
  • Visionary and commercially astute thinking, taking full ownership of operational performance, brand positioning and long term residential strategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving resident satisfaction, operational excellence and financial performance, maintaining industry leading benchmarks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local regulatory requirements, property management standards and compliance frameworks.
  • A hands on leadership approach with a solution driven, service oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  • The Director of Residences provides strategic leadership across all residential operations, ensuring an elevated, seamless and refined lifestyle experience.
  • Oversees day to day operations across all residential departments, ensuring consistent adherence to luxury brand standards and exceptional resident satisfaction.
  • Develops and executes a forward thinking residential strategy aligned with the organisation's overall business vision and growth objectives.
  • Leads the preparation and management of the annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring financial prudence, profitability and long term asset value enhancement.
  • Partners with residents, owners, executive leadership and the board to identify operational enhancements and value creation opportunities.
  • Reviews financial performance regularly, ensuring residential units operate in line with budget expectations and established performance metrics.
  • Establishes, refines and enforces operational policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of service delivery and compliance.
  • Implements departmental strategies and measurable action plans to continually enhance the resident experience.
  • Acts as the primary senior contact for residents and owners, actively gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares and executes annual action plans based on resident satisfaction data, operational insights and performance analytics.
  • Ensures full compliance with company policies, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Addresses resident and owner queries, concerns and escalations with professionalism, discretion and efficiency.
  • Champions a resident centric culture, fostering a calm, courteous, and service driven environment.
  • Collaborates closely with department heads to ensure operational alignment, service consistency and strategic execution.
  • Sets clear objectives and performance expectations for direct reports, holding leadership teams accountable for results.
  • Oversees the full resident journey-from property handover through ongoing occupancy-ensuring service excellence and adherence to management agreements.
  • Models and reinforces exceptional customer service standards across all residential touchpoints.
  • Communicates clear and consistent departmental goals and strategic priorities.
  • Conducts regular performance reviews and leadership evaluations to maintain operational excellence.
  • Provides structured operational and performance updates to the executive team, highlighting achievements, risks and strategic priorities.
  • Leads and implements organisational and brand driven initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and sustained operational impact.
