Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle to lead our organization’s revenue management efforts with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration and billing to collections and accounts receivable management. Your leadership will ensure the financial health of our healthcare operations by optimizing revenue streams, enhancing operational efficiencies, and maintaining compliance with industry standards such as JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations). Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, coding, billing, collections, and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue capture while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical management and administrative teams to streamline workflows, improve patient financial experience, and reduce claim denials.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle performance; analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee staff management, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations for revenue cycle teams.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare management best practices, including medical management protocols that impact billing and coding accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes in healthcare management policies, insurance regulations, and compliance standards to proactively adapt processes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in medical management within a healthcare setting, with a focus on revenue cycle functions.
- Strong expertise in healthcare management principles, including billing practices, coding accuracy, insurance claims processing, and collections.
- Proven leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams; ability to motivate staff toward achieving operational excellence.
- Deep understanding of JCAHO standards and requirements related to revenue cycle processes and compliance.

Pay: $93,243.25 - $112,292.95 per year
