Job Summary:
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all revenue cycle functions within the healthcare organization. This includes patient registration, insurance verification, coding, billing, accounts receivable management, and collections. The Director ensures that revenue cycle processes are efficient, compliant with regulations, and optimized for financial performance. This role involves leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across departments to ensure that the organization maximizes its revenue while providing excellent service to patients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, with progressive responsibility.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within revenue cycle management.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, coding, and collections.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Proficiency with revenue cycle management software and healthcare information systems (e.g., EHR, PMS).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
High level of integrity and commitment to compliance.
Certifications:
Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) preferred.
Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) preferred.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or similar certifications are a plus.
