Director of Sales – Holiday Inn Express & Suites

We are seeking a driven and experienced Director of Sales to join our leadership team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. This person will lead all sales efforts, build strong relationships with clients, and grow revenue by targeting key market segments. Success in this role requires confidence, organization, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the hotel’s sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Target corporate, group, and leisure business through consistent outreach
  • Maintain strong client relationships and secure repeat business
  • Respond to RFPs and negotiate contracts that are profitable and aligned with brand standards
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Revenue Management team
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and business visits
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity
  • Ensure full compliance with IHG brand standards and systems

Requirements

  • Proven hotel sales experience required
  • IHG experience strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of the local market and key demand drivers
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through consistently
  • Proficient with IHG sales systems and Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
