Position Overview

At the award winning Wingate by Wyndham Blue Ash, we are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager / Sales Executive to join our team and drive revenue growth through new and existing business accounts. In this role, you will be the face of our hotel in the local Cincinnati/Bleu Ash market, proactively generating leads, building strong client relationships, and maximizing bookings for transient, corporate, group, and leisure segments. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for room nights, group events, and catering/meeting space.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business from corporate accounts, travel management companies, sports teams, tour operators, and local organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular outreach, site tours, and personalized service.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections, and networking events to promote the hotel’s unique advantages (prime Blue Ash location, complimentary breakfast, modern amenities, and proximity to Summit Park and major attractions).
  • Manage group and transient bookings using hotel sales systems, negotiate contracts, and ensure smooth handoff to operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Front Office teams to optimize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Track sales activities, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and prepare regular reports on pipeline, bookings, and market trends.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community functions in the Cincinnati/Blue Ash area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven hotel sales experience (transient, group, or corporate sales preferred); Wyndham or mid-scale hotel background is a plus.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales goals and building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive “hunter” mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local sales calls and events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for client events.
