Our products support some of the world’s largest brands in snack foods, coffee, pet food, confectionery, and consumer packaged goods. In addition to our core bag former business, we continue to expand innovative product lines including sanitary washing systems, storage solutions, inlet seals, and custom fabrication solutions.
We are entering a major growth phase and are seeking a driven, strategic, and hands-on Director of Sales to help build and lead the next chapter of our sales organization.
Position Overview
The Director of Sales will lead and scale our North and South American sales efforts while helping modernize and structure the company’s overall commercial strategy.
This is not a “maintain the status quo” role. We are looking for a leader who can develop processes, drive accountability, grow key accounts, pursue new markets, and build a high-performance sales culture.
The ideal candidate has experience in industrial manufacturing, packaging equipment, OEM sales, or B2B technical sales and understands how to grow business with both large enterprise accounts and regional manufacturers.
This role reports directly to company ownership and will work closely with operations, engineering, inside sales, and production teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Growth
- Lead and develop the company’s sales strategy across North America
- Drive revenue growth across existing accounts and new business development
- Identify growth opportunities by industry, region, and product line
- Develop strategic account plans for major customers and global accounts
- Support expansion of newer product lines and innovation initiatives
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor inside and outside sales personnel
- Establish sales KPIs, accountability metrics, and reporting systems
- Improve sales processes, forecasting, CRM usage, and pipeline visibility
- Help define territory strategy, customer segmentation, and account ownership
Customer & Market Development
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, food manufacturers, and packaging operations
- Travel to customer facilities, trade shows, and industry events
- Work collaboratively with engineering and operations to support customer solutions
- Help position the company as the premium provider within the industry
Strategic Initiatives
- Assist ownership in long-term growth planning
- Evaluate opportunities for market expansion and partnerships
- Support international growth initiatives where applicable
- Help create scalable commercial systems as the company continues to grow
QualificationsRequired
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience in industrial, manufacturing, packaging, automation, or technical B2B environments
- Proven experience growing revenue and developing sales teams
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Experience managing key accounts and complex sales cycles
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, plant managers, engineers, and operations teams
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred
- Experience within packaging machinery, converting, food processing, or automation industries
- Bilingual-Spanish preferred
- Experience selling to large food manufacturers or CPG companies
- CRM and sales process implementation experience
- Engineering or technical background is a plus
