About the location

Soon to be one of the region's foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan informed by an environmental model to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and more. There will be a full-service spa with a hammam, tennis courts, three outdoor pools with cabanas, and two beaches for families and adults.

About the role

Join the visionary pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea, where luxury meets innovation and sustainability. As Director of Security, you will be responsible for leading the overall security strategy and operations of the resort, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, residents, employees, and assets. This leadership role will guide a high-performing team to maintain a secure environment aligned with Four Seasons' standards and local regulations.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for all resort areas.
• Oversee risk prevention and emergency response.
• Lead and train the Security team, ensuring a professional and guest-focused approach to safety and emergency response.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and coordinate with local authorities and government agencies to ensure compliance.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting.
• Manage the investigation of incidents and coordinate appropriate response and follow-up.
• Ensure the safety of VIP guests, high-profile events, and sensitive operations in coordination with executive leadership.
• Foster strong interdepartmental communication and lead crisis management planning.
• Represent the resort's security interests in internal and external audits and inspections.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in security management, preferably in luxury hospitality, government, or high-security environments.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, emergency procedures, and risk mitigation.
• Previous experience in the military or law enforcement is a strong advantage and highly valued for this role.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Experience in liaising with local law enforcement, civil defense, and regulatory agencies.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.

Schedule & Hours
