Director of Strategic Partnerships

Job Purpose:

The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening strategic partnerships with government entities, private sector organizations, investors, and international organizations to support sector development, enable strategic initiatives, and contribute to the Authority’s strategic objectives and economic growth initiatives.

The role focuses on building long-term partnerships, identifying collaboration opportunities, managing partnership agreements, and ensuring alignment between partnerships and the Authority’s strategy and sector priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic partnerships strategy in alignment with the Authority’s overall strategy and sector development objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities locally and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, private sector partners, investors, and international organizations.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), partnership agreements, and collaboration frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective execution of partnership initiatives and joint programs.
  • Support sector development initiatives through partnerships that contribute to investment attraction, sector growth, and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of strategic partnerships and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
  • Represent the Authority in meetings, committees, and events related to partnerships and strategic collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for joint initiatives, funding programs, sponsorships, and strategic projects.
  • Ensure partnerships are aligned with governance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, programs, and projects led by the Authority.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans and partnership management frameworks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, business development, strategy, or stakeholder management.
  • Experience in government, semi-government, development authorities, or regulated sectors is preferred.
  • Experience in managing partnerships, agreements, and stakeholder engagement at a strategic level.
