Director of Supplier Relationship Management & Performance

• Lead the development and execution of our supplier relationship management strategy, including identifying critical clinical suppliers (CRO's, central laboratory, cardiac safety, IRT, Patient Recruitment & Retention) establishing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the outsourcing process including the assessment of external commercial market and facilitation of the RFx process.
• Establish and lead a risk-based governance program across assigned clinical vendor relationships, manage governance plan, develop and maintain supplier scorecards and dashboards to monitor supplier performance against key metrics and provide guidance to key stakeholders for risk management.
• Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment on business priorities, identify opportunities for improvement, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Directly negotiate in collaboration with legal, supplier service agreements, master service agreements, and contracts and resolve any disputes that may arise.
• Work closely with clinical supply chain, quality, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support our business objectives.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, to ensure alignment on supplier strategy and execution.

• 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; or 10+ years with a post graduate degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Proven experience in clinical trials, CRO operational and/or BD experience, supplier relationship management or procurement in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and driving supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, supplier scorecard development, and dashboard creation.
