-Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.

Master’s degree is often preferred (especially at university level), in:

Strategic Communication

Mass Communication

Public Relations

Higher Education Administration (optional but beneficial)

2. Professional Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience in:

Media relations

Marketing communications

University or academic communication (preferred)

Experience managing:

Institutional branding

Multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, print)

3. Key Skills

Strategic communication planning

Bilingual proficiency: Arabic and English fluency (written and spoken) is usually essential.

Media relations: Building and managing relationships with local and international press.

Content development: Writing press releases, speeches, newsletters, and website content.

Digital media skills: Social media management, digital marketing, and analytics.

Leadership and team management

Crisis communication and reputation management

4. Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with:

CMS platforms

Social media management tools

Graphic design

Analytical tools
