ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

NPAccel (NPA) is seeking a Director, Paid Media to lead our Paid Media team and serve as a trusted resource for our prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience building and leading a Paid Media team at a digital marketing agency. You will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our Paid Media Departments (Accel and LevelUp) in delivering exceptional services and driving business growth forward for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Paid Media professionals, ensuring the successful execution of strategies, identifying opportunities for growth for our department and team members, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Initially, this role will be to manage a small team on the Accel side and work to continue to build the LevelUp side. You will be responsible for training staff on the processes and frameworks you have built. You will work closely with our VP, Paid Media, Directors of other departments, and outsourced partners to work toward the common goal of company growth. The ideal candidate has the entrepreneurial spirit to build things, move fast, and get things done.

To qualify, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the US.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Provide strong leadership to the digital marketing team, inspiring excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
    • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members, nurturing their professional development and ensuring alignment with department goals.
    • Provide mentorship, structured assistance, instruction, and inspiration to the team to build a high performing team.
  • Strategy Development and Implementation:
    • Keep a finger on the pulse of Paid Media industry trends and updates especially as they pertain to client objectives, leveraging a deep understanding of digital channels, technologies, and best practice.
    • Identify the opportunity to implement and oversee the implementation of new channels, technologies, and best practices.
    • Responsible for partnering with the VP, Paid Media on product innovation and monetization, to continually find new revenue streams for the solution.
    • Identify The Client Business goal sand help translate those into initiatives,deliverables, and SOWs to align with the established goals.
    • Ensure that our delivery processes and systems are in place and followed by the team.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Acts as secondary escalation point for client services and sales for complex Paid Media challenges and solution leader for successful resolution of escalations.
    • Leads the strategy, creation of presentations and deliverspitches for renewals, upsells, and new accounts for clients where a higher level of revenue is involved, and subject matter expertise is needed.
  • Budget Management and Financial Reporting:
    • Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, adherence to financial targets, and ownership of ad spend reporting to finance.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership,showcasing department performance, key insights, and recommendations for initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in paid media within an agency environment.
  • Track record of revenue growth across a portfolio of B2C and B2B clients.
  • High Proficiency In strategizing and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn against a given ROI (Return on Investment) target.
  • Ability to accurately report on department performance and translate the complex into simple but meaningful insights.
  • Strong Expertise In omnichannel planning, data,and analytics as well as CRM.
  • Understanding of the synergy between earned, paid, and owned media.
  • Track record in establishing valuable relationships with clients, including C-Suite.
  • Exceptional project management skills,writing and organizational skills.
  • Experience in building a team from the ground up and developing standard processes.
  • An independent and pioneering attitude.You area self-starter, able to independently execute with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, and/or Programmatic.
  • Experience in conducting sales calls andparticipatingin pitches is a plus for this role.
  • Experience with or knowledge of web development and implementation of tracking pixels/tags.
  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Slack,and Microsoft Suite.

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: USD $115,000.00 - $125,000.00; depending on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
