Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the way in the entertainment and culture sector in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a visionary leader for the role of Director - Planning and Reporting (COPWFP260002). This key position will oversee the development and execution of our planning and reporting strategies, ensuring strong alignment with Qiddiya's strategic objectives.

As the Director, you will manage the comprehensive planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for the organization. You will play a critical role in providing insights through financial analyses and reporting, helping guide decision-making and strategic initiatives at all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of the Planning and Reporting function across City Operations
  • Ownership of the preparations of budgets, forecast, financial reporting, MI and insights for operating assets
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure operational cost performance
  • Manage the development of dashboards and performance reports using power BI or similar tools
  • Define the reporting process and financial controls to ensure they are compliant
  • Lead the periodic benchmarking activities to monitor operational performance versus market
  • Support key decision making regarding operating models, investment decisions
  • Lead a high performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity and continuous improvement
  • Act as a key point of contact for planning and reporting inquiries, ensuring transparency and effective communication

Requirements

  • A recognized accounting qualification in addition to a Masters’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in finance or FP&A is required
  • In depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting; with a strong background in operational finance roles
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to distill key insights, interpret complex data and present in a concise manner
  • Experience in developing dashboards using Power BI or similar tools (Develop / Maintain)
  • Strong finance management capabilities, with a track record of delivering in complex, multi stakeholder settings
  • Proven experience of working in cross-functional teams and with senior stakeholders. (ideally with Middle east experience)
