Role Overview
As Director Private Clients, you will be the strategic driver of client engagement, responsible for managing elite relationships, overseeing bespoke investment and trading solutions, and influencing the long-term growth of SITAR’s private client services. You will combine vision, leadership, and market insight to deliver a world-class client experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Leadership & Advisory
- Act as the primary advisor to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, offering personalized investment, trading, and wealth strategies.
- Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their unique objectives, risk preferences, and lifestyle aspirations.
- Provide proactive advice on portfolio diversification, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
2. Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective client portfolios.
- Drive client retention and expansion strategies through innovative and tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement strategic goals for the private client division.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of client relationship managers to deliver exceptional service and results.
- Establish performance standards, provide coaching, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Promote continuous learning, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends and best practices.
4. Market Insight & Competitive Positioning
- Monitor UAE and international financial markets, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes.
- Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent SITAR at industry events, conferences, and exclusive networking forums.
5. Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with trading, compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of client strategies.
- Implement processes and standards that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing private clients at a senior level, ideally in investment, trading, or wealth management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and guiding high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market shifts and develop client-focused solutions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to build trust quickly.
- Deep knowledge of UAE markets, regulations, and the expectations of high-value clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced certifications such as CFA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
