Product leadership (platform/program outcomes)

Execution of Network/Spec Mandates (core to role)

  • Ensure platform changes are consumable: versioning/migration approach, documentation, release notes, and adoption plans for downstream teams.
Embedded Product Owner (delivery execution for the squad)
  • Serve as day-to-day Product Owner for a scrum team: backlog ownership, refinement, sprint planning, demos, retros, and crisp acceptance criteria / definition of ready & done.
  • Create and maintain delivery artifacts appropriate to technical work: PRDs/RFCs, service/API requirements, data contracts, batch/file specifications, process flows, and operational runbooks.
Technical partnership in a legacy/complex environment
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to deliver in a legacy ecosystem (Mainframe + AS/400; file/batch integrations), collaborating effectively with COBOL and Java teams, and leveraging modern services/APIs where applicable.
  • Identify tradeoffs and manage risks across scope, timeline, compliance, technical constraints, and operational impact; escalate decisions appropriately and drive closure.
Cross-functional leadership & operational rigor (lead through influence)
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across Sales/GTM, Partner teams, Operations, Risk/Compliance, Customer Support, Implementation, and Finance.
  • Lead launch/release readiness: internal enablement, training, communications, release notes, and partner coordination to ensure consistent execution.
  • Operate with a production-ownership mindset: partner on incident triage, root cause follow-up, prevention, and quality/stability improvements.
