Join Qiddiya Investment Company as a Director- Governance & Reporting, where you'll play a vital role in our development management team meeting initiatives across various projects in the dynamic hospitality sector. In this exciting position, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust governance control mechanisms and reporting processes that support sound decision-making and strategic objectives across our diverse projects. Your expertise will ensure that our governance project controls and reporting s are aligned with the best practices, comply with internal processes and procedures requirements, ensuring that the departments are providing transparency and accountability in all our operations. You will lead a talented team while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and drive organizational performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee a comprehensive framework governance controls and reporting across all projects.
  • Lead the preparation of insightful project and operational reports that inform management decisions and support strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and procedures, whilst maintaining the integrity of the business unit through regular reporting.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to evaluate project performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement continuous improvement initiatives in governance and reporting processes.
  • Managing production of monthly business unit reports and presenting them to the senior leadership team and stakeholder committees.
  • Liaising with the internal stakeholders, contractors, designers, suppliers, etc.
  • Managing data collection, benchmarking and reporting.
  • Liaising with the central secretariat and governance teams to report on the performance of the hospitality business unit and ensure that the executive leadership is continually updated.
  • Engage with senior management and stakeholders to present findings, insights, and recommendations based on analysis and reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and training to staff to cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence in reporting.
  • Assistance with risk management and reporting.
  • Looking for efficiencies to improve service offering and finding better ways of working

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related Construction Industry field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in governance, compliance, or related roles, with a focus on residential development
  • Certified Project Control Professional (CPCP), Project Controls Certified Practitioner (PCCP), or equivalent
  • Thorough understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory requirements in the real estate sector
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication abilities, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and drive change effectively
  • Proficient in governance software and tools for tracking and reporting compliance
