Job Titlle: Project Director - Yatchs and Boats (Arabic)
Yachts and Boats are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead the boat club. The Director will be the driving force behind all operational, financial, administrative, and marketing activities, ensuring exceptional experience for our members and the continued growth and success of the club. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing our tiered membership program, managing the marina and lounge facilities, and fostering a vibrant and welcoming community for all boating enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Financial: Develop and manage the annual budget for the boat club, including revenue and expense forecasting. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial goals.
Policy and Procedures Implementation: Develop and enforce club policies and procedures to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all members. Regularly review and update policies to reflect best practices and industry standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the club operates in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and boating safety laws.
Marina & Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marina, including slip assignments, maintenance, and safety protocols. Ensure the club's facilities, including the lounge, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Fleet Management:
Manage the club's fleet of vessels, ensuring they are well-maintained, clean, and ready for member use. Implement and oversee a comprehensive maintenance schedule and ensure all safety equipment is up-to-date and in compliance with regulations.
Coordinating with maintenance service providers to ensure timely and adequate maintenance of the fleet
Managing fleet renewal, registration, and insurance process
Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated staff, including dockhands, captains, maintenance supervisors, lounge staff, and administrative personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment and ensure all staff members provide exceptional customer service to our members. Establishing clear and SMART KPIs for all team members.
Event Management: Plan and execute a calendar of events and activities for members, including social gatherings, boating excursions, and educational workshops. Work with the marketing team to promote events, offers, and drive member engagement.
Tiered membership program management: Oversee the club's tiered membership program, ensuring a clear value proposition for each level. Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members across all tiers and ensure seamless and positive member experience.
Marketing and Sales: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy to drive membership growth. This includes digital marketing, social media engagement, community outreach, and partnerships with local businesses.
Member Relations:
Creating a friendly atmosphere amongst club members
Addressing Member’s needs, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. Foster a strong sense of community and build lasting relationships with members
Club Memberships: Identify and attract new business opportunities to increase memberships and revenue through initiatives like client Signature Club and Stopover to Sea.
Strategic Partnerships: establish strategic partnerships with entities that can assist to further enhance the club’s visibility, expansion, and development.
Product Development: Develop existing club products and services for members and guests.
