We are on the lookout for an exceptional Director - Projects (MAS8-20003776) who will play a vital role in propelling our groundbreaking projects from conception to realization.

In this senior position, you will be responsible for steering complex multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives while delivering unparalleled experiences for our future visitors. Your expertise will guide project teams, driving innovation and excellence throughout all phases of project development.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Executive Director - Delivery, you will:

• Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of high-profile projects within the Qiddiya portfolio, ensuring alignment with company vision and financial targets
• Establish and maintain straightforward communication with senior management, stakeholders, and team members regarding project updates, risks, and milestones
• Drive strategic decision-making through effective project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of project design and delivery are seamlessly executed
• Implement best practices in safety, quality, and operation standards throughout project lifecycles
• Mentor project managers and team members to foster professional growth and a culture of compliance, accountability, and excellence
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role related to large-scale projects
• Extensive experience in managing projects within the entertainment, leisure, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable
• Strong project management skills, knowledge of current methodologies and tools, and a track record of successful project delivery
• Excellent leadership qualities, capable of motivating diverse teams and building collaborative relationships
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate and influence various stakeholders
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management
• Proficient in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
