As a Leader at Woman’s, You Will:
Position Title: Director, Respiratory Care
Ideal Candidate Profile:
An ideal candidate will hold a current Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license and a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). They will have a minimum of an associate's degree in respiratory therapy, healthcare administration, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will also bring at least seven years of progressive leadership experience in acute care respiratory services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in clinical operations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, and operational performance. They will possess a comprehensive understanding of cardiopulmonary services, healthcare leadership, financial management, and accreditation standards. Advanced certifications in respiratory care or healthcare leadership are preferred.
